    Villa Rental

Thanks guys. I've looked at the sites and a lot of them look like a good deal for a family. It would also be nice to have your own pool and not have to hassle with some of the crowds at the hotels. Just wondering if anybody else has rented one of these and if they had any feedback. A lot of...

    Villa Rental

I have been looking at some of the Villas for rent on the beach in Cozumel. From what I can tell some of them look like a great deal for a group. We've always done the hotel thing in Coz but this looks kind of cool. Anybody have any thoughts or recommendations?

    St Martin Dive Operators

Scuba fun finally emailed me back too. They were apologetic and said they had been really busy. They seem like nice folks. I am going to book my dives with them as well. Caymaniac when will you be there in April? The wife and I will be there 4/16 - 4/23. We're staying at the Grand Case...

Well I've emailed both o2 limits and scuba fun twice and neither respond to my emails. I get read receipts so I know they are receiving them. Any other suggestions?

    St Martin Dive Operators

Can anybody recommend a good dive op on St. Martin. We're staying in Grand Case on the French side. O2 Limits is the dive op where we are staying but they don't answer emails for information so I'm not so sure I want to dive with them. Thanks everybody!

Grand Cayman is it really that expensive?

Roatan Man, Thanks for the info. The resort has a dive op on site that I've heard good things about. It's called Ocean Frontiers. I haven't received a reply to my email requesting prices. Just sent the email a few hours ago. Any other feedback on them would be appreciated. I think...

Grand Cayman is it really that expensive?

My wife and I are planning a trip to Grand Cayman and plan on staying at the Reef Resort. I have heard that the Caymans are very expensive. Can someone give me some examples. We live in Houston where a decent dinner and some drinks for 2 is usually in the $100 range before tip. Our dive...

    Solo diving in Tulum

Dana, I do not have a direct email for him. The hotel where he is based could probably get you in touch with him. info@casacenote.com They are very nice there. You might also want to look at casacenote.com. Sorry...I can't be of more help but it's a pretty secluded place. Good luck.

    Solo diving in Tulum

Dana My wife and I were in Tulum at the end of October. I did a couple of dives in Tankah Bay with the DM at Casa Cenote. It was just he and I and he charged me $35 for a 2 tank dive. I think his name was David. There is a cenote right there at Casa Cenote as well. We stayed at the Blue...

Any idea's going to Tulum Mexico 3rd week of January!

Read the above post about Tortugas in Playacar. Wish I had a money back "garauntee" to see a "LOT" of large turtles. My dive group only saw one. Maybe we just weren't lucky.

Any idea's going to Tulum Mexico 3rd week of January!

Not sure if you would be interested but I dove with a divemaster at Casa Cenote. It was great. He and I were the only ones on 3 dives and dove with a couple of girls from Belgium on 2 others. I was staying next door at the Blue Sky hotel and walked over and asked him about diving. Can't...

    Diving Tulum (Sunscape) info please...

I'll be in Tulum in 25 days. I can't wait. I am diving with Abyss dive shop. I have never done any diving in the area but will post a report when I return. I've done quite a few dives in Coz but I'm not expecting it to be as good in Tulum. I started a thread asking about diving in the area...

    Tulum

Lobke, Thanks for the info. I spent some time in your beautiful city back in '98. Can't wait to get back there. I take it la vita e bella is a bar? Where is it located? I love to have a drink or two after a dive. Do they serve Oranjeboom by chance?

    Tulum

52 days and counting down. I contacted Abyss and will be doing my dives with them. If I decide to go to Coz is there a ferry from Tulum or do I have to drive to PDC? I can't wait for this trip.

    Concrete beds

Amen to that. Every bed I've slept on in Cozumel was like a slab of granite. Everything else is great!

    presidente vs. occidental

My wife and I stayed at the Presidente in May. It was really nice to have good snorkeling right off the beach and I did 1 beach dive there as well. We have stayed at the Allegro and the Iberostar but not the Grand. I liked the Presidente's location much better than either of those hotels...

    Tulum

Teamheatwave, We'll be staying at the Blue Sky Hotel on Tankah Bay Oct. 22-27. It's just outside Tulum so no need to pick me up in PDC. Let me know if you'll be in the area around those dates. I've never driven in Mexico so I'm a little nervous about the drive down from Cancun. I was...
