I need you to elaborate DSR-3. I would be more than willing to purchase anything you have that will make this strobe work with a normal digital camera. Thanks Kelly

    Sea&Sea YS-60 TTL/S

Was just wondering if anyone could tell me if I can somehow convert or make a Sea&Sea YS-60 work with a standard fibre optic cable or some other conversion kit. I am trying to mate it to a Fuji F700. Any help would be appreciated. Just purchased this strobe without enough research obviously:(...

    Jamaica in January

We just returned from our week vacation at the Grand Palladium. We did 2 days of diving with the on site dive operator. The diving was pretty much what we had expected with the research that I had done previously. There was a huge lack of marine life on the reefs we dove along the coast in front...

    Jamaica in January

The wife and I will be going to Jamaica in late January. We will be staying at the Grand Palladium which is located halfway between Montego Bay and Negril, very close to a town called Lucea. We have dove mostly Cozumel, which we love and the Dominican last year. Any recommendations on dive...

PADI Cavern Cert Accepted by Others?

I did my PADI Cavern Cert with Dennis from Diablo Divers in Puerto Adventuras a couple of years ago. I was assured by both Dennis and a couple of other highly regarded instructors that they would accept the PADI cert if you decided to move on to other classes. But like any instructor, you may...

    Is it a dive

I am not 100% sure, but I don't think a confined pool dive is classified as A DIVE:popcorn: But it may be interesting to hear some other responses. Kelly

    Which BC Fits Better (pics)?

Definately check out a backplate wing setup before you buy. Especially if you are going to be diving dry. You will have so many more options in the long run , you won't beleive it. Check out DSS or Oxycheq. Do a search and you will find plenty of opinions on both. Kelly

STAless with the new Mach V???

I can see the pros and cons of going with or without an STA. However for myself, depending on if I am diving the cold no vis lakes where I live. Or the warm carribean. The extra 3 or 4 pds of weight in the STA is a blessing. Why would you want to carry that much more weight on you belt or in...

One bad line wrap and Murphy Wins!

I had a similar experience last year in Mexico during my cavern class with Dennis from Diablo divers. During our lights out OOA exit, the line somehow got caught around my tank valve. We died. Not quite sure how it ended up there, but it is still the best course I have taken yet. Like Meng says...

Regulator record - anyone beat this?

Continuing on with the PADI bashing as usual. Why is it here on SB that every time someone starts a thread about a bad diver, or a diver complains about an issue they had it is ALWAYS the fault of PADI. Get over it people and start being responsible for yourselves. If you suck at diving, take up...
