I do not think you will find a dive OP that will go to the East side of the Island as it is very rough. Most of the OPs go as far North as the Debbie II wreck but that is still on the West side of the Island.
I always use Clive and you probably will too after diving with him, we're in Aruba for 4-5 weeks every year and I have used Clive since 2011.
You do have to book ahead as space is limited but IMHO he is the best.
He doesn't rush you but he will not be a baby sitter either, "1 hour more or less"...
Hi Everyone,
I'm headed to Barbados for the first time in December and will be staying at the Almond Beach Resort. I'd like to know which dive op's are close to this hotel and from that which ones you guys recommend. I'm leaning towards using Eco Dive but it seems to be a little far from the...
Hi Nivek,
I always dive with Clive, he runs Dive Aruba. Here's his website: Dive Aruba - Scuba Classes, Dive Trips and Equipment Rentals
He runs a very good operation, small groups usually 7 max so you will have to book your dives ahead of time, he lets you dive your computer and never rushes...
I decided on the Sea Dragon due to the fact that it has a user replaceable battery which means you can carry a spare battery and you won't be stuck with a dead light or NO light because you had to leave it behind to charge.
Plus the Sea Dragon compartments are separately sealed. The light and...
The Sony RX100M2 works very well for both stills and video.
It's a 20MP camera, lets you can take 17MP stills while taking video and it's got a dedicated video button that lets you start taking video with no screwing around. I've been very happy with mine.
Hi all!
Just booked a last minute trip to Jamaica and I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn in Montego Bay. I think the dive op at the hotel is Jamaica Scuba Divers, correct me if I'm wrong.
Just wondering if anyone has used them recently and if so how they were? This is my first time going to...
Hey there,
I'm trying to decide on which way to go. I've got an old Olympus C5060wz for photos and I got my self a Kodak Zi8 with an Ikelite Pro V8 light for video as a starter, both are in Ikelite housings. I've also got the wide angle W20 Ikelite lens that happens to work with both housings...

We stayed at a place called Cunucu Residence here's the website: http://www.arubacunucuresidence.com/page.aspx?id=1
Very nice place away from the buffet lines, requires a car rental though. 45 minute walk to the high rise hotel area.
Just returned from a great month in Aruba where I "Dived with Clive."
Here's the link to Clive's site: Dive Aruba - Scuba Classes, Dive Trips and Equipment Rentals
I've used two other operators here in the past and I gotta say that Clive is by far the best one and I see no reason to use...
This ended up being longer then I first thought it would be so my apologies but I wanted to be thorough.
Just returned from 2 weeks in Aruba where after checking with and talking to a couple of different shops I decided to go with Mermaid Divers for 11 dives......wrong choice, I would NOT...
Just spoke with Clive and he said his boat flipped and is being repaired, didn't say how it flipped. He's using a friends boat right now but said he is only taking 4 divers at a time.
I will be back on Saba for my 7th trip May 7-18, 2010
Our first trip in 2006 we stayed in Windwardside at Scout's Place. The rooms were OK, the pool was small but enough, they also have a restaurant here and the food is good. Friday nights are quite loud because of Karaoke and the hotel is...
