Selling my OSS drysuit, Boston MA

I'm tempted but it's probably to big for me also. I have an old Harvey that keeps me warm but not dry.

New Bonaire Trip Video - GoPro Edition

Nice video Doc and I'm happy that I am not the only one that make squids flee. Just once I'd like to get within 10' of one of those suckers, run away, run away they do. Depressing that I will not make Bonaire next year, double sigh. I really need Bonaire but I will be diving somewhere.

    Scuba instruction

Google is your friend. I do not know of any in that area, I do think there is a shop in York Maine. You'll probably have one or two choices although you will have to wait for spring for your open water dives. Nothing like doing your open water dive in an ill fitting wetsuit, 45 degree water...

Beware of Silva Fox lobster boat

Actually the common factor seems to be Lane's Cove, I have never had a problem on Cape Ann but then I did dive Lane's Cove once from a boat and did not seem that good to me. YMMV.

So I turn to Mort and ask,"Is this a bad idea or a really bad idea?"

Nice story and sounds pretty typical for NE.

    Did anyone dive today ???

Love the video. We got out Saturday at the Nubble maybe 15-20' viz with occasional sand storms, temp low 50's. We did see a nice Torpedo Ray and several Sea Ravens along with the regular suspects.

Anybody been in water lately? Vis any better?

Interesting, Dave we were at the Nubble Monday also and blew it off, the viz looked terrible. Our standard rule is to look over the side to the left in 12-15' of water and look for bottom, we see bottom we dive, if we don't we drink. No bottom on Monday, you did say it was variable. When we...

    Single Diver in Bonaire

Many times you can find a buddy in the airport lounge before you leave, remember everyone in that lounge is a diver and going to Bonaire. Then at your resort and if all else fails show up at a diver spot, suit up and stand around looking wanton, somebody will show up and dive with you.

    Divers find ashes of deceased

Sorry about that Connie, my former MIL. We did scatter and not just dump the plastic bag. It was only a little, she got around.

    Weird Dive

One of my first dives at the Nubble I found a body... in an urn.

Save the Donkeys - Divers love the Donkeys, right?

Marina has made a proposal to the government, so I suppose it is being considered. News Second page has the anouncement.

Slightly disturbing dive at Nubble last night.

I dove the Nubble a week ago and everything looked fine to me, in fact the Northern Red looks like it's almost doubled in size. There's some shot at the end of the below link. Awesome Saturday

    Happy Holiday Homes - Bonaire

I have never stayed there but I have not heard of one person that did not rave about how good it is. The owner are suppose to be the most gracious and accomodating. Book it, I doubt you will regret it.

My shot is from 2009 and the Rock Pile on the Klein, it was also shallow taken while snorkeling. He was pretty small maybe 3" diameter.
