This is Why I Need a Drysuit

I have been diving a drysuit for quite a few years in Cape Town now, will certainly not go back to a wetsuit - I don't even own one now. From when I first got into the water with on e on I just knew it was the right thing to do, even though it obviously felt different to what I was used to. No...

    8mm fe or 7-14

Just to add to the comment by PhilW - I shot all of the images in the link below with a 8mm Fisheye, no strobes. Yes they were with an E-3, but 8mm underwater is not that difficult to master - it was the first time that I had used the lens anywhere .... Red Sea August 2008 - a set on Flickr

Feb in South Africa - Sodwana and Aliwal Shoal -- advice and buddies

I would not want to be in Sodwana without a vehicle - if the diving is wiped out for a day there are some nearby game reserves that are worth visiting. However this is not a deal breaker, just the way that I would do things. If you want to go to Moz there are a few options: 1. Leave the rental...

some pics with the 60mm f 2.8 on land

I bought the Kenko extension tubes together with my 60mm. I have yet to test them out, but given how close I managed to get to the subjects without them, adding lighting could be an issue in certain circumstances. Like Phil I prefer a TC for the working distance.

Hi Nope, not the OM-D. There is currently no TC available. I was using the 50mm plus TC with my E-3. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2

Yup the 50mm is an awesome lens. Sometimes I use it with the 1.4 or 2.0 tele converter. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2

    Olym 60mm Macro at Lembeh

Great stuff so far, looking forward to the rest !!! My 60mm plus Kenko extension tubes should be here on Tues - could have done with them today for some macro flower shots. Then to take the plunge and get a housing, in the meantime I will carry on with my E-3 which has served me well.
