We purchased June 1st on Continental leaving June 20th from Pittsburgh to Bonaire $530. We were shocked couldn't believe the deal. It was a spur of the moment decision to go at the end of the month.
You should be able to find prices under $1000 per person for sure. We stayed at the Belmar which was a very nice condo had two couples in a two bedroom and it was about 650 per person.
If you are getting $1000 you should shop around.
Hi my wife and I will be stopping in Cozumel for one day on our cruise and want to do a couple dives. Neither of us have dove Cozumel and was wondering which dive operator to use. We really don't want to use the dive shop associated with the cruise since it likely will be a cattle call type...
Ahhh Bonaire, our first trip to this MECA was this summer. We stayed at the Belmar such a great place, but it's all about the diving. The best diving I have experienced, want to go back.
I personally think it's a negative that the airlines are starting to charge this since they have a poor track record. Also, I really don't see how you can go on vacation for 7 to 8 days and not have to pack a second checked bag if you are traveling with your dive gear. If you have camera gear...
No Clive is not strict when it comes to the dives, he lets you dive, he is great. He just wants you to be safe in his boat and let him handle the things in the boat. Don't get in a hurry, just relax and when Clive says to get ready you put your gear on and dive. You will see how great of an...
I recommend Clive (Dive Aruba) too, dove with him a couple years ago and he takes small groups is very friendly and lets you dive your dive. We had great dives on 3 days with Clive, you won't be disappointed.
I highly recommend Clive (Dive Aruba), my wife and I were there a couple years ago and used Clive on 3 days of diving. He is great, he picks you up and is so friendly. Not sure where you heard he was strict, he does like to keep his boat organized but that is understandable. He lets you dive...
Hey there! I was in the store a few days ago- very nice. The staff were cool and helpful. As far as pricing goes- it is very competitive with some of the bigger name online stores, like scubatoys, but, you also get the local service. I will definately buy my next piece of equipment from them...
Has anyone dove with Captain John's Diving? Traded some e-mails with them about prices and such. According to his web page, he has been around since 1999, just curious if anyone has had any dives and what their impressions were. Thanks
Dove Summersville on Saturday and it wasn't too good this time, wicked thermocline at about 20 feet or so, only had a 3m suit on but got cold quick. Vis was somewhere around 10 feet too.
We are going to be in Honolulu, so I have been looking around for different dive shops. I seem to finding good things about reef trekkers. Anyone dive with them???
I found it useful. It's funny cause I didn't notice it was that old either, but I read it because work may be sending me and my wife to Oahu at the end of July. Plan on getting some diving in, first time to Hawaii.
Do you guys know anything about the Charles Foster, Phillip D. Armour, or Canobe wrecks? I might also be travelling to Erie, PA, but won't be able to head up to NY to dive. Can you dive these wrecks off the penisula (or nearby)?
