If it weren't for my personal experience, I would take that as a testimonial. I have sent several emails to Ikelite, and when I got no response I sent a hard copy letter. No reply to that. If it wasn't true, then Ikelite should step up and defend themselves.

I have for sale a Canon G9 in an Ikelite housing. Included is a strobe arm (no strobe), extra O-ring, and a rebuild kit for housing. Asking $600.00 for the set. Buyer pays shipping. If I find the extra battery, it's yours. I can't find the manual, but it's available online.

lastel, What mode (Auto, AV, TV) are you shooting? If the camera is in Auto and it thinks it has enough light, strobe will not fire. Try using AV or TV, with flash set to fire every time. I haven't used the G12, but used that setup with my G9. Hope that helps. Charlie

I hear that as of October 1st the South Seas will be available for charters like other boats with no O/C on board. I think I might try to dive it next week.
