    Most beautiful reef recommendations

Thanks for the suggestion. I am really interested in seeing a nice colorful soft coral reef. I have had some large animal dives but now want to see some of the most colorful reefs.

    Bora Bora Tahiti - ??

I am very interested in F. Polynesia for diving, esp. Bora Bora. Is the reef more hard coral? We are used to laid back Bonaire diving. What about current, depths and such? There is a special offer from clubmed.com for May and June 2006. An all inclusive (meals anyway) only $800 and...

Belize tour of Mayan sites, Recommendations?

I am having second thoughts about going to Tikal by land. I have read on belizeforum that over the past few years armed bands have even stopped tour buses to commit crimes. Think I'll stick to Caracol and Xunantunich (sp?) on this trip. Maybe it would be more safe to fly to Guatemala from...

Belize tour of Mayan sites, Recommendations?

Thanks for the info. I have been leaning toward staying at the San Ignacio Resort/ Hotel (not definite). We plan on a day trip to Tikal with a tour guide for transportation, and possibly Caracol another day (weather permitting). This should be fantastic. We loved our trip to Chichen Itza in...

    SeaQuest Passport

I was hoping you would get some responses because I am considering the same BC. This one may be a bit new for others to respond. These do pack down to a very small size. They will fit across the narrow length of a standard size roller suitcase (ours anyway). I will be trying it out in a pool...

    Titan LX versus Titan

Our local prices are of course higher, but I can live with this. The Titan is going for 225 and the Titan LX for 329. There is a 75 dollar discount (through July) on the LX from Aqualung, which puts these two near the same price. Would prefer a simple set up without a bunch of switches or...

    Zeagle Escape versus Aqualung Patriot

I am planning on warm water, shallow dives in the caribbean. Need to be able to pack it in tight. Don't need much lift. I'm not married to either of these two but this is the style that might suit me the most.

New to the sport (Purchasing Related)

I am approaching this the same way as another expensive hobby I have with the exact same situation. Support the local merchant some and buy online when I chose. I don't expect the same prices as online at the LDS, but I should not have to pay 2X the online price of a $500 item.

Could Nitrox help prevent subclinical injuries?

Great site you guys have here! I don't know much about Nitrox, but would like to know about thoughts on helping to prevent subclinical DCS or small infarcts in various areas of the body.
