This will be a LDS purchase to be used in shallow, warm water diving. First reg purchase. I have not used adjustments on rental regs.

I am planning on warm water, shallow dives in the caribbean. Need to be able to pack it in tight. Don't need much lift. I'm not married to either of these two but this is the style that might suit me the most.

I am approaching this the same way as another expensive hobby I have with the exact same situation. Support the local merchant some and buy online when I chose. I don't expect the same prices as online at the LDS, but I should not have to pay 2X the online price of a $500 item.
