i just did my Nitrox course while on vacation. I had already done the book work, so all we did was one afternoon have a sit down, go over the reviews, and take the test. The next day we made our regularly scheduled dives on nitrox (after verifing the fill, blah, blah, blah) and voila! Certified...

I will second that opinion. The blasted things are so hard to use. Either you can't open them, or you can't get the fin off, or it pops open when you don't want it to.... But it's fixable. Either spend a little time *disabling* it, or just strech the strap over your heel and skip the whole...

They will get floppier after a while. At least mine did. After about 100 dives over 3 or 4 years, they feel like limp noodles. So I got Quattros and LOVE them!!!!!

The Midnight-blooming Jasmine was the one I used that worked the best and Coconut Lime Verbena worked OK. I used the one in the tube, not the bottle, also. I think the difference is that it has shea butter, but I can't recall the name off the top of my head.

I was just in the BVI, currently in San Juan airport waiting on the way home. I got bit alot too. Then I found that if I wore Bath and Body Works lotion the bugs left me alone. The DEET worked ok, but the lotion worked best. Guess the bugs don't want to smell good.
