Thanks hopefulist. I am scheduled to fly out from SPS until the 29th in the afternoon. Should have more than 24 hours of surface time. In addition planning to do no deep diving. Just enjoying the warm water and shallow reefs..
yes only two days but will try to get atleast 6-9 dives!!!! I go from Sps to La Ceiba by car...leave the car at Muelle of Cabotaje. Arrive in Utila at 11:00am.

I also like Quisence (?) and even went out with Island Adventures a small operation very flexible and great people. I would reccomend any of the three as I have had great experiences with all three.

I dove with them a couple of years back. I was not impressed about the boats. Apparently their boats were being serviced and they had their daily dives running out of "tiburoneras" (long boats with outboard motors and were you sit almost on top of your gear).

What you experienced is FIRE CORAL not flower coral.
This is very painful and in my experience it can take more than a week to heal. It will even leave a mark for quite sometime after it heals.
Was it yellow with a white tip???....definitely Fire Coral and it stings!!!!!
