    Exploded scuba cylinders

NOVIZWHIZ that has got to be one of the best stories that I've heard in a long time. Some one sitting on a cilynder and pulling off a valve that had air in it, I read that and howeled, deffinately Darwin Awards material. Some how I can imagine what kind of nervious wreck a person would be after...

Looking for a hood made of fleece or polartec type material

IST makes a hood like that. In the water there won't be any thermal qualities but at least in warm water it will keep the little creepy crawlies out of your ears.

    Nanoose Bay area

I've dove a little in the Nanoose Bay area and was wondering if there were any other shore dives around the area. I've done Madrona, Cottam Point, Sedusers Cove, and Wall Beach. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    mask

Sorry for posting twice. Thanks for replying twice. I wouldn't touch any Scubapro crap if I was paid to. Both of those masks are higher volume then what I already dive with. Also both are single window masks, so to put corrective lenses in them they would have to be glued in, again not what...

    Mask Defogger

Spit works great, and I think every one uses it from time to time. I personally use it all the time. The one thing that every one needs to remember about using spit in their mask is that you need to be cleaning it really well afterwards. Reason for cleaning well: BACTERIA grows in there real...

    Dry suit zipper care

Has it occured to any one that a suit manufacturer (or zipper manufacturer) may not want you to care for an expencive componant of your drysuit properly. Replacing your zipper means money to these people, so why tell you how to get any extra life out of it? Also if you are cleaning the zipper...

    Bare Drysuit Owners?

I dove a Bare Commercial Trilam (which is now called a Bare HD Trilam) for about three or four years. Now I am diving an XCD2 from Bare, I've had it for about a year and a half now. I've got a couple of friends with HDs and they like their suits and we're all doing a hundred and fifty plus dive...

Question for experienced dry suit divers

Just a suggestion. Go dry, your size means custom. Better off with a custom suit anyway, fits better. The boot size, get soft boots. I don't think you can get rockboots or trekboots big enough to fit, but you could probablly use a pair of canvice high tops, which are pretty close to trek or...

    Keystone?

Any-one been to Keystone lately? I was wondering what the vis has been like in the last little while. I thinking about taking a couple of newer divers (diving for about a year and a half now and have about 150 dives under their belts) there this week-end. They have been wondering if there was...

    Fitz-Wright Dry Suit info wanted

Fitz-Wright suits haven't been made for at least ten years now. I'd be real werry of buy something that old. Neoprene breaks down over time. When it breaks down it becomes a leaky sponge that soaks up water and lets the water come into the suit. It's a dry suit and there for needs to repell...
