Like I was saying I have seen my videos render faster to and external hard drive. Now if you get one that will hook up Via firewire that would be best but USB will work also.

I just got a new XPS laptop for editing. Mines came with the NVidia 8300 or 8600 with 256 Meg in it. I have not seen what you are saying much. Sometimes reight when the clip starts. But you can stop it and restart it and it goes away. What ever you do get the one with the most ram posible. Mark

For a video to work in a DVD player, what setting must it be rendered at for it to operate. I rendered a video yesterday for my buddy and it played in the computer but would not work in eaither of our DVD players. Mark

I am using Sony Vegas movie studio 8 Platnium and would like to know from the seasoned people what do you adjust first, and what you should not mess with. Should colour be adjusted first or brightness and contrast. Is there any way to make it easier on th new guy. Thanks, Mark:confused:
