Would anybody be interested in doing a meet n' greet again soon?? Went to Ginnie Springs yesterday, I got a taste of diving and I want more!! All I can think about is when can I dive again? Anybody interested?
I live in Jacksonville and the closest in Mayport, which is about 45 minutes north of St. Augustine. The dive shop is called Atlantic Pro Divers and they go out every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I see I missed the meet n greet, I just moved to Jacksonville last September and I'm ready to dive. Update the board on another meeting or when you'll be diving and where.
Carnival Miracle goes from Tampa, to Grand Cayman (7am-4pm), Costa Maya (10-6), Cozumel (7-6), and Belize City (7:30-4:30).
Carnival Miracle hands down! All 4 have amazing diving!
I went diving with Carnival in March in Belize. I couldn't image going with anyone other than the ship. You are there so little amount of time and If you make your own reservations remember that you have to tender in and that might take/waste time alot of time. It is expensive but well worth...
I've noticed that my Cobra takes a very long time for it to change temps. I did a couple of dives this past weekend. I mostly stayed around 45 feet (registered 72 degrees, but I really think it was colder than that) but I did one deep dive at 75 feet and it registered it being 69 degrees. And...
I should have stuck to my original plan!! I decided to book a dive through Atlantic Pro Divers but my dive got cancelled due to rought waters. I then had a dive planned in Key West but our ship ended up going to Freeport, Bahamas instead. It just wasn't my vacation for diving!!
I'm leaving in less than 2 weeks!! But time is going by soo slow. I've booked a dive with Atlantic Pro Divers for Sunday Sept 4th out of Jacksonville (before we go on the cruise) & I will also be diving in Key West. Thank you for all the info, I will be bringing everything but my tank, weights...
Also you can go to the Quarry's website and download the release form so you don't have to worry about that Saturday morning.

I'm planning on being there early Saturday morning, around 8 to check in & do some early diving. I have a bright yellow Cavalier, so you really can't miss me. Is anybody familiar with Circleville that could suggest an easy meeting place? Also I would like to try my first night dive, I'm going...
So It is decided, I'm taking all my gear except my weights & a dive knife that I do not own yet. I'm so excited to be diving in Florida :) I'm doing a dive in Jacksonville the day before we set sail & then again in Key West.
I will be sailing on a Carnival ship in September & I'm diving only on one stop (it's only a 5 day cruise). Has anyone brought there own gear on board? How does Carnival react to hauling your gear off the ship for that day & then back on?
