Let us know how things work out. 4 feet of visibility makes seeing boats from below a bit difficult too. A safety line for currents, or even just visibility issues. I grew up off the Navasink River. I hope to dive somewhere in NJ as well, but it does appear a challenge to do it.

I ended up getting a V1 from a shop in Connecticut. They were clearing them out because the new Vector 1000 has replaced it. I got it for about $220 shipped with MRS. Dove with it for the first time in Hawaii and really liked it. Appeciate everyone's thoughts and info.
