Good thing to know. Was thinking of getting the tg5 for snorkeling. Was wondering whether I need to buy the Ikelite housing for it but it seems to do quite well without it from what I read

A good day to all. Do I need a housing for a TG5 if I'm going to be snorkeling. I will be diving down to 20 or 30 feet which I know is well within the depth limits but will the constant diving down and coming back up in the salt water be a cause for concern over time. Also not being on a dive...

The wife and I are thinking about staying there in May for a snorkeling trip. It sounds like the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Do they have a tv in the bedroom? Thanks for any input. would love to be right on the water though. Joe

Looks like a mute point now TG4's are hard to come by and often more expensive then te newer TG5

Thanks 25 feet or less is usually the depth that the wife and I are in. I'm not into macro too much being a snorkeler but the close focusing and low light capabilities hopefully will come in handy
