My husband dives these regs in the Great Lakes. He's had them for about two years. They've been beyond 200' in 39 degree water and have performed wonderfully. He also likes the hose routing because it points everything down out of the way with no odd kinks or bends.

I have a SmartTec and before that a Uwatec AirZ, and nearly all of my diving is done in a drysuit with ZipGloves. The computer cannot be activated with the gloves on, even if you lick your fingers. I just got in the habit of taking the top part of my drysuit off and making any gas setting...

My folks had a place on Big Platte Lake, and I dove there a couple of times from shore. It was quite a swim to get to any depth. I never did find much of anything to see, but I'm one of those who would be happy blowing bubbles in a mud puddle. ;)

I dove Gilboa on Saturday, 3/7. When we arrived, the water was open except for a very thin sheet of crispy ice near the docks. My group of four used Dock #2 and there were a couple of divers down on Dock #5. By mid-afternoon when we finished our last dive, the ice was all but gone.

I love my SeaCure! No jaw tension or pain, no matter how long the dive. Wish I had one for snorkeling, too.
