If you aren't breathing on the rebreather (as would be the case when your physically on a boat), the rebreather at that point can't kill you.

Since its been mentioned that one passed out after being on the boat, I think it is safe to say that their issue probably is more medical/dcs related then rebreather related.

Service is required annually (according to manufacturer). It replaces O2 sensors and services the regs, bov, replaces o-rings and performs updates as required. Depending on the shop it could be anywhere from $300-1000. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
