Silly, Learned a neat new trick, rather than discarding the jam nut...I took it to the belt sander and took off a few mills. Just enough to allow the seals to meet up properly. this worked great and if I did need to change to a regular hose for some reason....its already there.

Yea. Keep a variety of weights with you. I am pretty close to your size and usually dive 14 pounds in a 3mm in salt. Bet that is different for everyone. Kinda surprised this day and age your lds isn't using weight integrated BCDs for an ow course.

Yea. That's usually a start of season thing with my regs. After being hung up in my equipment room during the winter I will get it from the Legend but haven't had the micra or z2x do it. Nothing I would worry about

What can I say, I smoke and I have done it on dive boats, Sitting (or standing) on the aft deck with the boat under way. ONE there is NO WAY my smoking can bother you in this way. I usually cant smell the smoke myself over the exhaust of the boat. I do not smoke in covered areas, I agree...
