The Valsalva method has never worked for me so I have been using the lowery technique(pinch nostrils, build up pressure and swallow). I can hear the click when I swallow , but not as audible when I try to use the Valsalva method. Should it sound the same in your ears from one technique to the next?

I have two complete sets of IDI gear that I am very happy with. The regulator breathes as easy at 100 ft as it does at 10. I have never had any problem with any of the gear and it seems to be high quality.My local shop sells IDI and also uses it for scuba classes.

I have a sea & sea MM II EX with no accessories and I was wondering if the Ikelite strobe package offered by Leisure Pro was any good. It's alot cheaper than the sea & sea if you have to buy them seperate. Anyone have any experience with this?

After every dive my ears feel like there's still water in them. I use a mix of alcohol and white vinegar after each dive and dry them out with a blow dryer but it still takes 2-3 days for them to return to normal. My ears never hurt it just annoys me to walk around not being able to hear 100...
