I like the Halcyon LP hose connectors, I use their pink six foot slim marker for drift deco dives, a few captains have commented on how easy it is to spot. Nice size when rolled up too, doesn't take up much pocket space.

Possible, yes, but a very bad idea. No one I know with the training to to dives in the 300' range would consider it.

If the reports regarding diluent and bailout are accurate I agree that it is unlikely that a 90m dive was her plan.

Pretty common. A lot of my RB dives are solo, I carry at least two bailouts on any solo dives with a deco obligation.
