Well it was going fairly well. I was sick for several weeks and just got out of surgery yesterday. Probably wont get back at it until 5-15-13. I was working on the equipment side of things prior to getting ill...

Yes seriously... Superior??? Its an option... No one is asking you to give up your light... This is designed to be a back-up light at night. Or primary for certain situations. Much like it was already- light was made by Ikelite... I just gave it an application, the forearm mount. There are not...
I have used it to write with, as long as its on the arm holding the pad in your hand like a clipboard its great. If that makes sense... If its on the arm you write with then it tend's to throw shadows or miss the clip board entirely... Its at a 12-15degree angle so the light doesn't hit the back...
I have sold these to quite a few lobster hunters and they love it.

Well you can point the light from any angle your arm is in... You don't have to turn your arm over, just point it- its fairly easy. How many wrist mounted...

I know I said hands and head next but the legs were calling me... Hands and head will be worked on in between and I will start reworking the feet soon. I have abandoned the idea of using fins as an armature and started working from scratch on the feet. Here is the current leg photo.
The prototype suit by itself should be about 5lbs based off the known weight of the material in saltwater. That can be changed with + or - a bit of neoprene and thinner parts with foam backing in inconspicuous locations. I should be able to get the final version to the target weight of 35lbs. I...

New projected weight... 65lbs... 0-60' in 2.5 seconds lol ;)
What you just said is absolutely not true... As I know for a fact that I have pass much gas in a hyperbaric chamber well beyond 2ATA, and been subjected to others also passing gas as well. At the very least you have made and interesting assumption. Just don't try to sell it to anyone else ;)
A couple of semi-famous quotes come to mind after spending so much time reading this thread...
“It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.” ~ Joseph Joubert
“I am very cautious of people who are absolutely right...
Current build photos:
Back finished and ready for mold.
New neck for bust shaping up.
Many head photos on FB page... Here is current pic.
So far the head was split in half and stretched out 1". The front of the mouth was cut off and re-attached giving another 1" of room. The sides of...
I'd be interested to know just how many divers have been injured/killed due to initial training in environment (A) then diving in environment (B) (excluding cave diving) with out further training prior to...
Wow! Thats a nice pool... If had something like that here its would be booked out 6months... I would have to hire staff to work a grave yard shift to accommodate everyone... Not sure what the overhead head is like at that place but I would have NP charging 20 per student per day here.
This is something I once did some serious research into many years ago... As well as New Zealand which would be a better choice IMO :) Honestly you should put some time in as an instructor and come up with a business plan that would take you that direction vs just trying to get a job as an...
