I changed the battery in my Luna transmitter without issues. I would expect the Sol is similar. It was just a couple of screws and the cover pops off. I was able to find a replacement battery at Walmart for $5.

This is a great story! I am happy that you have found a great group of people to dive with. It makes all of the difference in the world, doesn't it? I think this is also reflected in how much you've accomplished in the last 6 months with all of the certifications and the dive count. Keep it up!

A lot depends on the thickness of the wetsuit and your tolerance to cold. I've dove a couple of times in Beaver Lake (northwest Arkansas) already this season with a 7mm wetsuit, hood, and gloves. Water was about 44 F. My core didn't seem to get too chilled during the dives, but I definitely...
