    It was pretty good below about 60 ft. I was with my son in law a brand spanking new diver, so I felt badly for anyone diving in our wake :-( I didn't see it, but there is suposed be large GPO at around 70' on eggs on or near the water taxi boundry rope.

    Second that on Neah Bay (area 4). The season is longer, more liberal limits and rockfish are on the menu. I dove there last year, late in the season and still took two nice ling diving from the causway out to the island north of town. A boat would have definatley been easier! Let me know if...

    Well, it wasn't lake Travis but I somehow managed thru the dive. I could actually see my dive buddy from from 20 ft away! So cool. And the taste of salt water again- devine!

    anyone want to shore dive Saturday morning

    Well Shawn enjoy that whiskey knowing that your not going to miss anything at the lake tomorow. I just spoke with Ron who told me the vis at Barstow's today was about 3 ft. at best. I'm thinking I'm going to go out and buy a half case of beer at noon tomorow and watch the game instead.

    Lake Travis October 18, 2010 Oasis bluff was getting better above 50, vis about 5 or 6 ft. From 50 to 85 it got pretty thick and chewy again, but below 85 the water nice and clear. temp in the the clear water was around 70 deg according to my 'puter. Saw some nice size bass around 40 ft and...
