I think that BVI diving is pretty nice, having logged over 1000 dives here in the last 8 years. "Great" is really subjective, to me, it depends on what you are looking for and what your expectations are going in. For consistently nice conditions, both topside and u/w, the BVI is a good bet...

Not everywhere yet. We're hitting them as hard as we can. We'll try to get out there next week when the swell dies off and see what we can find.

In June, we can get to most sites unless there's some real squirrely weather around. Lee Bay has some great little areas for poking around, excellent for macro shots if you've got the gear. It's the only place I've found some pretty rare critters (at least according to local scientists)...

Don't worry about how many dives you have! We all started with the same number - ZERO! As the other posters said, get out and dive. Freshwater/saltwater, cold-dark, warm-clear, whatever as long as you are getting the experience. I started out diving in Texas before moving to the Caribbean...

I agree. Safety is number 1 in our business. We include all of our safety equipment in our boat briefings given every day on every trip. I'm selfish....I want everyone to know where the gear is in case something happens to me! Jeff
