i'm afraid HK is not known for wonderful diving, but the shopping is good and while you're here, you should check out a few of the dive shops! i'm sure the stuff here is much cheaper than many places and the variety is quite large!

i stayed at the SMART water bungalows and found the place wonderful. the other place is 'just next door' i went over just out of being nosey there were far more rooms, the place was much larger. i mean it looked quite nice but i never stayed there so i dont really know it appears that...

Also, i wasn't impressed with the night market. the stalls on the streets were selling typical touristy fake t-shirts and penknives. there was like an acade on the right hand side about 1/3 way down the market, if you go with the one way traffic that had some more interesting crafts stuff...

on the caution side we had 3 massages, and one place (incedentally the most expensive) was dirty and the massages were really bad.. like why would i pay for someone to touch and tickle me for an hour! i can't remember the name of that place, will ask my friends, if i find out, i will mail you...

sure will! actually i was there about 6 years ago. last time i stayed at Friday's which was very nice! i must find the bar by the beach that does those wonderful mango/rum smoothies.... cant remeber much about the diving though, only did a few dives as i spend most of the time snokelling...
