We are looking to do a trip to Buddy in July/August. Our group is deciding whether to pay for a food plan for lunch at Buddy. Do you recommend going back to the resort everyday for lunch or are there good places to eat near the dive sites? We also don't want to have to drive 30-40 minutes...

After deciding that we don't want to cook often, we are leaning toward Buddy Dive resort. They offer a very reasonable dive package. Does anyone know if the food is good there?

I have one more question. Reading some of the answers about shore diving is making me question how much we can do. Are the shore dives easily accessible? Like I said before, one of the families we are traveling with has 3 teenagers so shore diving will be cheaper than multiple boat dives.

My boyfriend's life was definitely saved. I had a ton of pictures of stingrays. He was hitting buttons on the camera and he had no clue what he was doing. The pics were well worth the $30 but I will keep in mind the free site. Thanks
