    How would you handle this?

My closing the park was sarcastic,if you didn't guess. However, it was with thought. That is the kind of result that can occur with knee jerk reactions to un-liked actions. Sometimes in a free society one must live with other beliefs or ideas that are contrary to their personal ones. Regardless...

    Vertigo... reverse block?

I have the vertigo issue contributed to my ascent rate. My ears just cant seem to let the pressure out all that fast. I think of it it as my built in ascent monitor. Decent I does not happen. Visual reference is no help either.

Top ten great lakes wreck dives?

Interesting that this is posted in the tech. diving area. As far as Great Lakes, I have been in one Lake "Erie". Lots of Erie diving can be done outside of tech. Which is good for me. Favorite by far is the Dundee. In my limited experience, and skill set, it's a great dive not too deep and...

    Dui tls boot size

There are two possible reasons I can think of that would account for the tight fit. That suit may have been made custom for someone with that size foot and it did not make the final cut, or you have larger feet than the general stock size DUI puts on it's suits. The boot in either type rock...

    Apollo bio pro-c fitting

Well it looks like the answer to your question is in your question. I had to get fins with larger foot pockets when I went to a dry suit. Looks like you have to do the same with the new boots. Thats one reason many drysuit diver use Jet fins. There are other reasons, but pocket size is one...

100' before aow... how and why?

This is an intersesting thread. Everyone seems concerned about that mythical 100 foot mark. I have 5 years and just under 70 dives . I know not a blazing number, but I have been in everything from temps of 80 degrees to 39 degrees. Viz from 100 feet to 6 inches, fresh and salt, from shore and...

PADI Nitrox, Computer vs. table class

I would advocate tables as well. I use a computer, and wear a watch while diving. Most of my dives are in the hour time frame due to air consumption rather than NDL's. Lake Erie is only so deep. I still work out then numbers on my dives in case the puter craps out. Since I usually only due...

    Who hates their DUI drysuits?

I am in the love mine croud as well I have a TLS 350 signature with zip seals on the wrist, and regular on the neck. I did not like the way the neck seal suits felt. In my opinion custom is the way to go. I have very few issues with bouyancy, some but it was not a huge learning curve. and it...

    Nitrox cleaned then using air?????????

I would worry about this, if the shop said we O2 cleaned your regs for you and it's gonna be this much extra. I would run away from this shop. If they do it as a matter of course with all their reg service and told you up front,, or did it because they knew you were taking nitrox class and did...

Puget Sound diver coming to Cleveland July 2011

Also in Cleveland there is Discovery Dive Charters, and Holiday dive Charters. Both go to wrecks in Lake Erie. Price depends on how far out you go. I would recomend diving the Dundee as a relativly close to Cleveland dive. For what it's worth Osprey is not only tech, but a lot of there dives are...

    Inline SPG?

I'm not an engineer, but I think just they way SPG's work, they have to be a dead end. If not they could not read the pressure. The air would just pass through. Anyone know if it's even possible to make a pressure gauge that lets air past?
