I currently use an Olympus TG6 in the stock Olympus housing and I'm interested in a minimal lighting upgrade to improve macro photography and do a little night/low light diving. The focus light/strobe combo seems overly complicated for my needs so I was wondering about just using a video light...
Thanks Gfs! That worked. I’m using a 1200baud satellite link at the moment so definitely no videos but I will take a look at the videos when back to somewhere with Internet.
Peterak, Thanks for the excellent description of this function. Most of my photography is snorkeling/freediving using ambient light so conditions are highly variable and I am not loaded up with time on bottom. Much as it pains me to reward Olympus for failing to update the TG-5 firmware, I think...

Thanks!

Tursiops - responses

2. Photography while snorkeling is proving challenging. Camera stability is difficult so high shutter speeds are...
I’ve not been here for a few years (maybe decades...) but I’m back in the water. Life finds me retired and living on our sailboat, currently in the Tuamotus atolls in French Polynesia. I am doing a lot of snorkeling (ambient light) photography. I will post some pics when I get to some real...
Someone must be able to use the lights I advertised below. They are wasted cluttering up my cupboard... I need to move quickly on this. The movers arrive on Monday...
