I have dove both Saba and St.Barths. St. Barths diving is defently better, way better. It is also closer to St. Martin. Great resturants and beaches there also. Plongee Carribies has a great dive operation.

Defently rent a car for your stay. The only way to get around.

We stayed at the Sugar Mill in January. Great place. If we went back that is the ONLY place we would stay. We dove the Rhone with Blue Water.

I was looking for facts. Did he die from from a heart attack or getting struck in the head from the ladder or ????? For each incident we ought to start a separate fact thread and a separate speculation thread.

Just wondering if there have been anymore facts about what happened? We dove the French Reef the day before and was pretty rough.

I know this has been discussed before but searched and can't seem to find it. I always though that an Alum. tank was heavier than a steel at the start and lighter then a steel at the end of the dive, but my experience last weekend were just the opposite. I usually dive with 8 lb with a steel...

Why didn't they tie lines to themselves so that they could be hauled up if something went wrong? When Don saw Dave in trouble he could have him hauled up to him rather than going down after him. Sounds like a pretty simple safety plan.

It is not like they can go to their local jumbo jet store and get something similar any faster.
