    Livingston to Utila?

Hi Kansasann Traveling through Honduras has for most peple been smooth and hassle free, even to the point of being easier. Outside of the Capital the political situation is hardly noticeable, especially here on the Islands. We are still under curfew from midnight to 5am, which only affects...

    G10 Shutter speed with slave

Hi all.... this may have been asked before, and yes I suppose I could search else where, but there seem to be a few g10 users here. I've recently been using one of my DMTs g10 (canon housing) with a sealife sl96010 slave strobe. The stobe has no power output settings, so I guesed it would be a...

    Diving in the Nude...

Seen it many times times over the years, both male and female divers. There does seem to be some kind of unwritten rule, (Well, here on utila anyway) that DMTs reaching 100 dives must dive naked. If been asked to photo and video peolpe an quite a few occasions. Tips... The warmer the...

Sorry guys but this is not an ID question... I just thought a few of you diving and marine life nuts would enjoy this. (also couldn't think where else on the board it would be appreciated). Last night on a night dive here on Utila I saw some thing unbelievable. (and I've done a lot of night...

    Best Way SAP to Utila?

Hi Jason With your flight arriving at 12.15 you prob wont clear the airport until 1 at the earliest. With the bus to ceiba you will miss the ferry. There is (I believe) a flight from SAP to Ceiba at 2.30 but even that will be a push to make the ferry. The idea of a private car could work but...

Utila - Dive Center Owner death? Rumor?

Sadly it is true. Riccardo, one of the joint owners of UDC, died 2 weeks ago. It appears that he succumbed to Carbon Monoxide poisoning at his house.

Will be in Utila in a week or so....

Definately take something. At the moment on a sunny day I dive in my Rash vest..... but today I'll be in my full 3mm as it is a bit windy and rainy (no time to warm up in between dives) Agsain it is always a personal thing but i'd take something just to be sure.

a fish and a worm in Caribbean

Hi Maureen I would agree with your Mottled Mejora... again the marking on the eye gives that the edge. The worm however, is at an akward angle, but it does seem to resemble the Yellow Fanworm (Notaulax occidentalis). Hope this helps. Adam
