Matthew, Good choice! Obviously no one can tell you which decision to make, it's one that you have to choice. Good luck! In comparison, my LDS had also asked me to do the DM course. I thought about it for a couple of weeks before I simply declined. I enjoy diving...I enjoy diving different...

I read in another thread here (posted by someone AT Atomic) that they ARE IN FACT making a smaller version very soon. So, yes....it's supposedly true.

I'll second that advise. That's how I "stumbled" across my TLS350 for 1800 with zipseals and a few other goodies. Bought my wife a 50/50.

That's exactly what I use mine for....back up bottom timer, and thermometer, and depth guage......LOL Really though, I do use it on every dive as my bottom timer.

I'm going down to Florida to see my best friend (Director of Dive Operations for a big research/marine company) next week, anyway, should I take my drysuit (TLS350) for diving down there? I REALLY like diving my drysuit and already have my wieghting & trim pretty good. Also, how much wieght...

Your best bet is to find a Local Dive Shop and use their pool for "refreshing" your skills. As far as diving Table Rock (or Beaver) I'd recommend a drysuit! LOL Not in your budget, I'm sure. If you can make it down to Beaver Lake (at the dam) this weekend (April 22-23), you can dive a drysuit...

Well, I haven't really decided what I'd be wearing...LOL Look for a redheaded guy with a Tony Stewart nascar hat. That'll probably be me :) I will be in a Green Nissan Titan though, can't change that! LOL
