Update on Melgar sewer construction project. Update

Could somebody post an update on the progress of the sewer line replacement on Melgar? Wondering if it will be finished before Carnival 2024!

I always stay at El Cantil (condos). Close to town, most dive operators will pick up there. High end accommodations! If you really need a dive shop on site, Dive Paradise is very close.

I took my wife to Buccanos on our wedding day (married on beach at Mr Sancho's). Great sunset views. We didn't experience any insects.

Slightly off topic, but I plan to move to Cozumel soon. If friends come to visit, can I pick them up in my car, or do they still have to use the shuttle?

100% positive it is La Mission. About a block away from La Choza between Melgar and 5th. I've never been to Casa Mission, but been to La Mission dozens of times. I believe it's the same owner of La and Casa!

I'm sad about your experience at La Mission! I eat there on every trip and love their coconut shrimp. I hope it hasn't declined due to the pandemic!

Last year Carnival was cancelled. I know that no one has a crystal ball, but does anybody have reason to believe that it will be cancelled again in Feb?

Prima (top of El Cantil) has been closed for at least 5 years!
