    Bonaire Airfare - EXPENSIVE

I don't know what prices are like given the cost of fuel these days but what I felt was a good trade off for the cost of getting there was the fact Bonaire is not an expensive place once you are on the island. I.e., if you are going to do the shopping and cooking yourselves like we did (twice)...

Bonaire Shore Diving Made Stupid (Apr 29-May 7 @ Den Laman)

Its not the way you dive that makes me angry, its the way you type :D Cool eel spotting report. Are the morays starting to return? We were there in 2008 and they must have succumbed to the Swine Flu epidemic b/c we didn't see any (as opposed to the abundance of them when we were there in '06)

Bonaire Shore Diving Made Stupid (Apr 29-May 7 @ Den Laman)

You might be the only guy who has a problem with how other people choose to plan and execute their dives. I am sorry to hear that watching other divers start off with a surface swim ruined your vacation. :(

Another question about boots... in Bonaire

my wife and I have been to Bonaire twice. Both of us wore Akona Titaniums without any problems cutting or bruising our feet. The coral never bothered us and we didn't have any traction problems. We didn't dive the park or the East Side so maybe those places are where these tender footed...

    Wannadive for Beginner Divers?

Been to Bonaire twice and used Wannadive both times. If we go back I am pretty sure we would use them again. The first time my wife maybe had less than 10 dives under her belt and hadn't dove in a while - she came up too fast from only a few feet but she freaked out. Bob talked to her, and...

A quick question about diving in MA

:D I was just being a bit of a wise ass... my point to the OP was don't blow a ton of money on gear expecting it to be all angel fish and sea horses. I love diving around here (I drive my dive buddies nuts watching whelks and moon snails for what probably seems like hours) but my wife said...

A quick question about diving in MA

Sounds good. I didn't mean to imply you wouldn't like diving in New England, just that I myself wouldn't make any big financial outlays on equipment without getting wet first.
