I use the 4 step ladder that you are looking at and have no problem getting back on board in full gear and fins. They are right though the last step or two before you can place a knee on a tube is tricky because you don't have anything to hold on too. All though if you have room on the transome...
The fold down tank brackets actually holds the tanks really well the only thing I don’t like about them is that unless you have 2 rails and you can stair step the brackets there is a lot of wasted space between tanks.
OK finally remember the name of the company who made them. You can find the registration blocks here.

I know i have seen them before on the net but I'm not able to find it again. I got mine from inflatable boat works in Ballard (it's a little town connected to Seattle). As for customer service they are about worthless. If I'm in Seattle I will give you a call and see if you want me to pick a...
Hey Shaggy I dont know if you seen the ones on my boat but I used the same fabric as the boat is made out of. This way the gluing process is easy. There is a glue called Bobs (I dont remember the rest) but can be found in most hobby stores the stuff sticks to anything. There will be people...
The marine radios have the electronics sealed and the circuit boards are hot dipped to keep the moisture out. O’ya then they charge twice as much. SO can you put it in yes and it will work for a while. Eventually it will corrode up from the inside out and will need to be replaced. But if...
one thing I haven't hear anyone mention is fuel consumption those 454's on that SeaRay will easily drink 20 GPH each if opened up at all. Just something else to think about.
I thought about doing the same thing but was not sure I could keep the ranks and BC on the upper level to stay putt if it got rough. My biggest fear was something falling and landing on a leg or foot. The rack Im going to send to you is set up to take 6 steel 95s down each side. As for getting...
Nice boat what is that about an 8 meter? I do have a drawing for a bottle rack if you would like one to get pricing. It is drawn in feet and inches but any fab shop should be able to work off of it i would think. Sen me a PM if you would the file. The pricing i got around here out of aluminum...
You can make anything work if you want too. If it’s what you have I would say use it why miss out on a great dive just because you don’t have the ideal dive boat? AS mentioned they aren’t the most stable boats on the water so if possible I would try to rig the ladder so you can...
Comparing a sail boat to a center console boat is like trying to comparing a tractor to a Ferrari. They are completely different creatures the sail boat has a displacement haul which has a top speed that is figured off of length and is designed to slice through the water. Once you reach the top...
The best most permanent way to do it is to buy the numbers needed in PVC and glue to the boat using the same glue you would to patch it with. If done right they will not be able to get them off. I had a Zodiac stolen about 4 years ago it was found in a Safeway parking lot still on the trailer...
My personal experience with fuel consumption matches what Hank is saying. But thats just what I have experienced. For a dive boat I would go as big as is safe. In the less then 30 range you end up weighting the boat down to near its max with gear and people. If you go with the smaller motor...

When I was looking for outboards for my boat there are several Marina’s down in Florida that sells demo motors and motors off their rental fleet. They seem to be a good value but didn’t research it at all being my dealer gave me an awesome deal on a new pair of motors.
The...
Shaggie if you are interested PM me when it gets closer to the time and I’ll let you know where I’ll have the boat in the water. That way I can also get the low down on what you been diving so I can figure appropriate dive sites. As long as I’m in the water I don’t care...
Bob
I think you will love that boat it’s a great boat. Very low and stable so it’s easy to get in and out of and will take just about anything the great lakes can through at if driven right. My vote for the perfect dive boat is a RIB for all the reasons above. They are just very...
