Can you suggest a pair of split fins for warm water diving?

I would suggest the Scubapro twin jets. They are more of a cruising fin, not meant for alot of power or speed, They are IMO a perfect fin for a warm water vacation diver like yourself. Also go with the full foot pocket, save the money if you are only going to be diving on vacation, and if not...

    Stiff paddle fins

get caravelle fins. They are really really stiff and generate alot of power. They have a long blade for an open heel fin. i used to hate them because they were too long and too stiff, but now i will swear by these fins. I also heard that alot of spearfishing divers love to use these when in cold...

    BC in the Washer?

I think it would, because the bladder is sort of sensative and the washing detergent is a really strong soap. Plus all the D rings and objects that could possibly be torn off by the spinning motion and there is a chance that the washer could get damaged aswell. But I really don't know for...

    Sunday Morning in Laguna?

I was diving Laguna today at woods cove, just before the beaches were closed. The surf and surge was horrible. We were told that the surf would only be about 2-3 foot, but when we got there they were about 4-5 and when we were exiting the water they were about 5-6. I would go to redondo if I...

H-1 Dive tools - Need help

The tanto tip to me seems alot more durable and practicle compared to drop points, spear tip, or the screw driver head. It gives you a way to pry something without risking the tip breaking on you, and it just looks better than any other tip, hands down. Evil :bgmad:

    Salt folding knife - contest

i think that it is a great idea to come to the consumer to see what they actually need. Most companies think they know what people need and/or want, and they just make a big mess of things. Good luck with the knife designs and show us pics when you finally figure out what it will look like...

H-1 Dive tools - Need help

I think the perfect knife (for me anyways) would be a full tang, drop point tanto with a blade of atleast 4 inches long, half serrated and a line cutter on the back side with a pry bar surface on the bottom of the grip. So then you have the best of both worlds combine in one very awesome knife...

    Biggest Dive Knife Question

you might be thinking of an old sea master knife. It has a chrome plated end cap and the blade is about 5 inches long, it is about 12 inches long counting the grip and all. They are hard to come by now, but they are really good knifes with a good strong blade on them. Evil :bgmad:
