Cressi Archmede 2 LOG Mode Errors

Very Strange, IMHO you should send it back to cressi for a check-up. Just verify, those dives where deeper than 5 feet???? The computer only starts to computer dive time below that depth

    Cressi Archimede gauge mode

To switch from DIVE mode to Gauge mode you must have the computer SIT for at least 48 hours and to switch back from GAUGE to DIVE there must be a 48 hours SIT also. When you blow your mandatory deco time the computer enter in Error mode and do not compute any saturation calculation for at least...

    Ethanol 10.

The main issue is that petroleum will end. Don´t know if tomorow or 100 year from now. Since we don´t know when we must discover new renovable energy sources. Bio Fuel is an excelent choice for the transition phase, tested and aproved here in Brazil. 70% of the cars sold last year were...

    Mares car ad

But that ad doesn´t have anything to do with diving, besides a bunch of people (who doesn´t have a clue) wearing diving gear. Though the car ir nice! I would love one in my garage.

What happened to the eye bubble test?

I believe that this will not happen to him again, not an OOA at least, he was scared enough. I choosed not to dive with him again just to be on he safe side. Knowing me, if I had saw him trying to surface at that speed I would have tried to help him out (grab by a fin, belt) and probably...

So how long will it sound like I'm breathing through my ears

"allway" typing error.... Last month I got Otitis Externa and did not gave to much importance. Then the pain became unbearable, I went to the doc. He diagnosed me with both Otitis Externa and Media, he added that the external ear was the first part of the ear that got infected. The cause...

    Ethanol 10.

As a Brazilian, I have some experience with ethanol. All the gasoline we buy is 25% ethanol. So it´s what you call ethanol 25. We do not have any problems with our cars/engines. Import cars from all over the world do not have any issue from Ferraris to Hondas. Boats with fiberglass...

So how long will it sound like I'm breathing through my ears

Otitis Externa, if not treated, is often followed by Otitis Media. But is important to say that Otitis Externa is not allway the cause of Otitis Media. Otitis Media can and is almost certain when a ruptured eardrum occurs. So said my doc. So better safe than sorry. And forgot to say, DAN...

What happened to the eye bubble test?

We made him SIT for 24 hours and have him under close observation for that period... I must say that we made him sit because he wanted to jump in for the last dive of the day....... At that point I made a mental note to self.... Never dive with him again. :)

So how long will it sound like I'm breathing through my ears

DAN suggests a home brew recipe for avoiding ear infection (otitis externa). 50% isopropyl alcohol 50% white vinegar. Put the solution for not less than 5 minutes on each ear on the morning (before the dives) and repeat the process after you finish diving on the day.

What happened to the eye bubble test?

If proofed this should be a very useful resource for those middle of nowere dives. Last month I was diving on a lake that was a good 3 hours chopper ride from the nearest chamber. A diver surfaced from 100 feet in less than 30 secs cause by an OOA emergency, luckly he didn´t got bend.

    Diving Tables???

NAUI´s RGBM tables are VERY easy, ideal for inexperienced divers. Choose a depth, see how much time you can spend at the botton, surface wait 1 hour, see how deep you can go on the 2nd dive and how long it will be......

    Calculate Remaining Air Suppy

Nevertheless Bar and liter are much easier to calculate, even though you had spend a big part of your weekend doing "deco stops" at the local bar. Why there is an iperial system when metric is MUCH more easier.....
