... so, decided to swap out the GTR for SAC.
I realised that during a dive I do scroll over occasionally and have a look to see what my current SAC is to kinda gauge my current workload and I as I always end my dives with a comfortable amount of gas, I never look at my GTR, so why have it on...
I would say for the target users the lockout is necessary. Many diver just wear and have no clue what the numbers, flashing amber or red means. Just last week a diver on the dive I was a part of was wondering why here Apple watch was flashing yellow. I had a look and she didn't go into deco...
Got some more dives in on my Eddys. I am so impressed with these. I've clearly adapted to them more and my frog kick is improving, but the propulsion they give from a frog kick is so impressive. What is it with the design of jet styled fins that makes them work so well for this kick? Couldn't be...
It is my life support, so it's something I want to do myself. I don't even like the idea of someone doing it and then I check it over. Best I do it from start to finish.
Plus, I really don't mind. It's barely an inconvenience...
I'm always amazed at the amount of water I see being expelled from other people BCDs after a dive as I always check and have never had any in my BCDs.
On my previous BCDs, I always pulled on the corrugated hose's dump valve. It was so convenient and I didn't have to get out of trim much. No...
I would recommend the Sherwood Triton. I have the original version, not the new 'Pro' which are stiffer. They are very good for flutter. Only just switched from them in favour for a fin more suited for frog which is my preferred kick.
Got this for my future scuba travels. It really does fit every thing.
AKONA Globetrotter All-in-One Carry-On Backpack
Was trying a link, but it would post.
Haven't used it for Scuba travel yet, but I liked enough to travel with it otherwise.
Yeah, I'm with you on this. Usually if the pace is upped and there's a reason for me to keep up, I can do so with 'my frog kick' with my previous fins, but this was first splash and immediately after descending and with the amount of surge I had no idea if 'my frog kick' would be good enough in...
Awesome.
One thing I left out was that my previous fins were slightly positive in salt water, which I liked, so that was another reason to try the Eddys.
I find myself frog kicking 100% of the time, mostly because I'm always cruising along in a leisurely pace, but even when on the rare occasions I need a quicker pace, I kept up with the frog kick. For this reason I bought the Eddys since it was said that they really suit the frog kick and I...
