And why would you do them at all unless you needed to? Not sure why anyone would practice these. From any depth. If you absolutely had to do one from how ever deep, it is a last ditch effort to get air because you have none. So you keep your airway open and ascend

Tables are taught more as a historical reference. I go pretty in depth in my classes on them but computers are really pushed and required for all diving activities.

330 lbs?? I would put diving on hold. Focus on cutting some weight down. Work on your cardio. If you enjoy the water, swimming is great excerise. Endurance will come quick.

I have a bio-seal but I stopped using it. It had a funky reaction to the latex and started to roll the seal down. I replaced the seal and bring a bio seal just in case.

Also run a hose through the second stages prior to use. Clean out the creepy crawlies. Had a black widow in one that shot out when I purged it.

We carry ours in a pelican case and get stopped and searched every single time. They run they're bomb sniffer over it then let us pack em up. On we go. Never any problems other that they do look suspicious in the x-ray

Absolutely. Many factors in diving. Location/ conditions dictate. My point being that deep, dark, cold Quarry diving may be great for some warm, tropical, 180' vis, hard bottom, calm seas recreational diving in Grand Cayman but it certainly is not great for Deep, dark, cold, swift current...

Depth, low vis, and cold water in a Quarry is not a catch all for all diving. No offense but that logic is flawed.

Nothing wrong with buying used gear so long as you service it prior to use.
