I was told to put them next to my body :no , and got a nasty 2nd degree burn :shakehead Not good! If you decide to use them .. DO NOT PUT THEM NEXT TO YOUR BODY! I have sinced moved on to a semi-dry suit, and will not use them again.

I have the Pinnacle Seal 3mm Merino and it is a great suit. I am nice an toasty, and it moves (streches) very nicely.

So tell me, what's the problem with dive knives that are strapped to your leg verses, on your BC, or other less conspicuous area -- Style? Is someone more likely to use the big strapping dive knife than a small one? Does the small one work better than big ones for removing entangled 50 lb test...

Well based on yesterday's rather poor conditions: 22 knot winds, gusty, waves 3-6 feet and visibility of about 5 feet. I don't think a night dive in similar conditions will be much much fun.
