Did you rent gear? Bring your own? thinking about going

Anyone with suggestions as to where to stay and of course dive in Cuba? What do we need to bring? facilities? Rental gear? We normally travel with our regs, mask and fins and rent BCD's but wondering if that is ok for Cuba? Where to go? Varadero, Trinidad, Cayo? thanks
