    Make lots of money diving

    Mansteak, I've been to a couple of resorts that had someone doing exactly what you suggested. SandDollar in Bonaire had someone until their operation got wiped out with the big wave in the late 90's. I was there again in 2001 and they didn't offer it anymore. Also, Little Cayman Beach...

    Sunday Silhouette

    This one was supposed to be a silhouette, but the yellowtail got in the way. Ended up making an interesting shot.

    First post of 2003

    I'm pretty much self taught as well. I've gotten some hints/tips from people, but most of my "training" comes from trial and error. I did take a UW photo class after I had been taking UW photos for several years. I did learn a few things about composition, but most of the info was directed...

    First post of 2003

    Here's a little Frogfish from Bonaire. The lighting isn't that great but it makes kind of a neat effect.

    Orange Filter Question

    Has anyone used Kodak Underwater processing? I used it a couple of times. The first time I was very happy with it and the second time I was disappointed.

    Nikon Coolpix 995 Digital Housing;

    Rax - Thanks for the info on your Nikon setup. I have a Nikon 990 and was looking at getting a housing for it. My current UW camera is a MMII with 2 stobes. It sounds like you are having a lot of luck with "regular" strobes. I was afraid I would have to get new stobes in addition to the...

    lake Rawlings photos

    I'll add a couple of things. For composition of your photo, try to get eyes and/or teeth in the shot. IE: avoid fish butts. IF there is a lot of particulate in the water, try to get your strobe away from your lens as much as possible. Backscatter is it's worst when the flash comes...

    1st camera..suggestions

    Jason, I'd suggest renting a camara. If you only plan on taking camara on a few dives, go ahead and rent down there. If you plan on taking the camara on most dives, you might see if you can find one up here to rent for the week. Either way, I would strongly suggest renting a MACRO lens...

    Hello

    Hey all. I just found this board, so I thought I'd post a link to my webpage. I've been diving about 12 years and have really gotten into UW photography in the last 5 years. I decided to put a webpage together to show off my pics. All of the pictures on my site were taken with a Sea&Sea...
