I currently have an Ikelite setup using a DS160 and a DS51. I feel limited by the DS51 and am considering an upgrade. Any thoughts on the DS 160 vs DS 160 version 2? has anyone actually gotten their hands one one in the wild?

I have not been on one of these trips, but I have been to a couple Scubaboard trips where Backscatter showed up. The information, help and classes were all really good. Also there is all that loaner/demo gear available as well.

I can certainly appreciate the performance and optics of an 8” dome, but would I get acceptable results from the 5” port I am currently using? This is the biggest one I can fit in my carry on hard case.
