I got the black last year and I love it. It takes great video with the red filter on. I have it clipped onto my BC so its out of the way when I'm not using it. I have the camera on a retractable pole which extends up to 3'. I can put the camera in holes where critters are hiding like morays...

I have not had any problems with mine. As far as stealing, that is one of the reasons I have the Q/C because I can take it with me.

I think it is well worth it. If you hang up your gear in a gear room at a resort or dive shop you can take the computer with you. Also you don't have to lug your reg around when you are logging your dives. I find it very convenient.

Richard.. I have seen many of your posts and I'm surprised that you eve THOUGHT of going in. I was at Playa Chiktu on a gas off day in March and was AWED at the power that Mother Ocean has. I took video of it to show others what the ocean has to offer. I'm very glad you survived that ordeal! WOW!!

Saba has some very nice dives but can also have currents that can spoil those nice dives. Bonaire's dives are also very nice but don't have the current that Saba has. I believe in my experiences between the two, Bonaire has a lot more easier dive locations than Saba. I have been to Bonaire...

Hi Tammy!! The 3 times we have been there (November & twice in March) there were eagle rays on most dives. On 1 dive in Ambergris Caye we saw 16 in formation and they hung around for over 10 minutes!! Make sure you camera is fully charged. Enjoy the trip and tell your hubbie I said howdy.

I have been trying to find on this forum if they fixed the problem of blurring that was on the 2. Has this been fixed by GoPro on the 3. If I get the 3, do I have to go to Backscatter to get their housing to correct that problem?

Check out Harbor Village is on the higher end resort that has a nice beach and most everything you're looking for. Also look at VRBO® is Vacation Rentals By Owner. There are units there that might do you right.
