    Getting back in the water

Egads, it's been 3 1/2 years since I was last in the water. My life has been all over the place during that time and I think it's time I hit the water again. I've still got all my gear (in safe storage), still have my C-card in my wallet and can remember most of what I learned from my OW...

    Aeris 750GT reset

I'm looking to sell a Aeris 750GT and would like to reset it back to factory defaults. I'm not interested in trying to "fit-fart" around with shipping it in for service or anything else like that... I just want to reset it. Anyone have experience in this? Thanks, SD

    Diving in San Francisco area?

How cold are we talking? I'm planning on a drysuit being my main exposure protection by then but in the event that does'nt happen will a 7MM be sufficient?. We're also interested in any dive that would be easy to do around the Emeryville area. This is a cheap budget trip so travel will not...

    Wetsuit stitching repair question

Where might one obtain Aqua Seal from. The interesting thing is that the two neoprene pannels that are the location in question are still held together with the original cement/glue and the nylon thread on the inside. Would altering that connection be required to make the reapir? SD

    Wetsuit stitching repair question

I'm sure this is going to be a simple question for some, I've got a AKONA 7mm one peice and my knife holder snagged the threads of the left leg and pulled about 3 inches of outside stitching out. The inside stitching is still intact and the glue is holding but I would like to repair it...

    FFM..Which course?

Jeff, Thanks for the reply. A couple of my buddies want to look in to FFM's but were unsure of the proper training. It would seem in the murky enviroment that we're in we loose sight of each other long before we loose audible communications but then again we don't know more code that well...

    PADI Inadequacies

Raybo, Don't get me wrong. I don't want regulatory intervention either, nor do I want any type of Scuba Police. I'm talking about a organization that would represent divers to the diving companies (equipment, certifying, or other type) and other organizations. None of the non-profit...

    PADI Inadequacies

Walter I'll try and clairfy and simplify, My main point was having been involved in other hobbies that enjoy support, guidance and leadership from a national (or international for that matter) organization perhaps diving could alos enjoy these same benefits and to promote scuba diving with...
