Will you be travelling much? We're very happy with our Aqualung Mikron, it's lightweight and works well.

Any recommendations for a reputable dive shop? I'm looking at the Ikelite AF35 strobe. It is roughly $100 dearer here than in the USA so I'm keen to get a good deal.
