I dive with an Halcyon Eclise wing on their six pound stainless wing . My single tank adaptor has a six pound lead weight insert. I put two pockets on the tank straps that I use for added weight depending if I wear a t-shirt or a wetsuit. My webbing is one piece and is fitted with Halcyon's...
Hi Richard,
Dive times varied between 45 and 60 minutes with a median of 50 minutes excluding coming up to the surface and safety stop. They will separate teams and bunch together experienced divers and form another group of newbies and certifying divers.
There are dive operators in St-Lucia...
Sandals is a premium resort group with all inclusive facilities, including scuba diving. They offer two tank dives everyday except on Sundays when it's a one tank dive. All guided dives are at a maximum 60 foot depth. They have well equipped dive boats and very a professional team, nice people...
I have not been to Tobermory but did a few hundred dives in the Thousand-Islands. Nice wrecks, beach entrance in Brockville and Rockport with reachable wrecks, Ivy Lea campground with very nice underwater scenery under the bridge. Alexandria Bay and dive charters to other wrecks on the US side...
I was in St Lucia last week, did 24 dives with the Sandals dive team. Very good fish life and well preserved reef. You can skip the wreck there as it is not really in good shape and it sit in the middle of a sandy field with nothing around. There are much more interesting dives around like...
Yes, Cudas come in black and the diver's scooter was black, so it must be a Cuda.
This kind of reasoning fits well with your previous statement. It shows flaws in your reasoning.
Out of curiosity:

Are 130 twins out of fashion, every tech diver is going for rebreather or side mount?
Is this forum not the right place for serious equipment sale?
Had it not been for a hip replacement I would still be diving with them.
I will have...
My scooter (Cuda 650) is rated at 600 feet. When a scooter manufacturer establishes maximum parameters for his equipment, does he factor in a safety margin? I'm thinking of scuba tanks or hoses that have a usable pressure range and a bursting pressure limit.
What brand of scooter were they using?
I hired Pietro Donnagio and his wife to shoot my daughters first post certification dive in Dos Ojos. The result was very professional and I was proud to put it on Youtube for the family to view. It's very hard to take a decent video in a cave environment. You need all your attention and...
I have short and stubby fingers but a wide hand. Dry gloves are always too long for me. Alas, I wear 5mm wet gloves that are slippery on my scooter handle. At least I dont have too much empty space at the tip of my fingers. I guess I'm lucky because I never get cold hands with my wet gloves. Did...
Don't believe everything you read on the web, this funny guy would also
tell you to charge your cell phone in a microwave oven.
Seriously, a thin coat of silicone grease would do well, don't use petroleum
based grease because it could damage the o-ring itself.
Keep in mind that in the Tropics that beautiful sunset lasts about 10 minutes and happens at around 6:30. It's a plus on a romantic dinner but it's early and short and sweet.
All the best to you and your wife.
I used yellow contact cement to modify my boots. Some of it is visible outside of the seam. I simply go over it with a permanent black marker every year. After two applications it remained black for a long time. I would not use a different marker colour because black is more permanent.
I guess you're no better off than when you asked the question. I can share my experience if it can help.
I own many regs and they are all DIN. I often dive with double tanks in Mexico, in the caves, and I switch to singles when diving in open water on the same trip.
Never had any problems with...
