    Daydreaming of Curacao

Hmm. Got email from Sea Aquarium.... they will arrange PCR for $100 for return. So if positive where the heck do you quarantine on Curacao? My real issue is the test PRIOR to Curacao. Getting close in age here for VAX 65 and counting down. :)

Fingers crossed for flights to Curacao

While my hopes for my 13th Annual November Pilgrimage have been dashed I am now planning for Feb/March. PCR testing here is now somewhat dependable... as far as lead time and availability it is feasible to institute mandatory testing prior to travel.... at least here in IN. In fact various...

Quite honestly love the island and the people. Been going for 3 weeks for 12 years in a row. Seriously considered buying but decided to keep things flexible and rent. We are not going to Curacao this year just too dicey on requirements for 72 hours for test hell it takes me 2 days to get...

    Daydreaming of Curacao

Tugboat last November. Gosh I sure hope all you island folk are hanging in there. I certainly hope November 2020 things are "normal". Here restaurants just opened up at 50%. I went out last night was weird.... waitress wearing mask and gloves and everything so spaced out.

Feel terrible for all you guys in Curacao! You have made us feel so welcome over the past 12 years. I am sure we can get this behind us. See you in November!

Sad to say Curaçao has made the restrictions list

Did they offer postponement? Also, which place?

Sad to say Curaçao has made the restrictions list

Well that sucks. Last Nov the AA flight cancellation hurt this has got to be 10 fold worse. Here (Indiana) all restaurants are closed to dine in. Some converting to carryout.... Hopefully this is over sooner rather than later.

Recommendations for lodging, dive shops for 1st Curacao trip

I for one feel that Westpunt is way underrated and has plenty of topside if you are into nature. Endless remote beaches, great snorkeling/diving, boca tabla, Christophol, landhuis' to visit, host of restaurants Misje, Sol, Rancho Sobrino, Catus Cafe, and that is just a few I would recommend..

Dive shop/stay for 28 hour layover?

I never dive the day before I fly. Damselfish is on the right track. Perhaps you look into Lions Dive. Ocean encounters is onsite op and across the street is Dive Bus. Great options of walk to restaurants all along the Mambo SeaAquarium beach. No need for a car with that choice.

    All-inclusive recommendations?

I stayed at the Marriott and Caribbean Sea Sports is not on property. In fact the beach bar... Board Room is kaput as well. I would not stay at either of the places to the west of Marriott they really look ratty. Oh and for heavens sake DO NOT even think about Kura Hulanda as all inclusive.
