I always carry a spare in my thigh pocket. Never used it, but before I started tech diving I did have a mask strap clasp break mid dive. Kept the mask on by pressing it against my face and not breathing out through my nose until surface.

I have a Shearwater pred on order with LDS, and am moving my galileo luna to backup status, has anyone used the new trimix firmware for galileo yet, and is it worth putting on? good features - bad features. I downloaded it, just havent hit the upgrade trigger yet.

looks like they have a good deal going for unlimited dives for the week at mermaid divers, just trying to get the most dives while i'm down there while still staying safe, and i don't see many postings on them as of yet. Lots on JADs and Dive with Clive though.

Latest results are clean bill of health from Dr., no lingering symptoms or damage shown up on any test. His Dr consulted with a DAN trained Dr, and conclusion was a very light case of bends. But happy ending for something that could have been much worse.

He is seeking his doctor's help since we have gotten back from vacation. No more diving since this seems to be a trigger, if not the cause. Ambulance medics, and on-island doctors cleared him for helath risk, and he was unsure after the first time if it actually was the dive that caused the issue.
