The problem with surveys is the data can be skewed towards any desired result. Surveying a spawning area, and believing it will provide the representative sample of all ages in a population is like taking a survey at a strip club to determine the percentage of adults in a city.

The only diving near North Port is Venice, for sharks teeth and other fossils. Going to be pretty cool in Feb, by Florida standards. Vis is usually less than 10 feet.

Might want to reconsider gloves on any wreck that has permanent buoys. Those lines can get pretty nasty.

I've used both and have no complaints for either. Pompano Dive Center's boat has their own charter fishing license, may be the only dive boat in Florida with the license.
