It is 110 in the was out under the stern. The rest can be seen at 90 or so ft. Scuba express runs out there and they do a double dip or if you want one long dive. There should be a few sand tigers on it now but they really pile in there when the water cools down. If you want to see the sharks be...
I would stay in the Murrells Inlet/Garden City area. Spend one day out of Murrells Inlet and dive the Copper Pot, MI 60, or many of the other artificial reefs in that area. Then another day you can trailer the boat to Georgetown, SC which is 20 miles south. You can dive the City of Richmond and...
I have a Pinnacle Evolution II Drysuit for sale. It is size King 1. It is a couple of years old and used on less than 50 dives. The neck and wrist seals have been trimmed. It is in great condition, no leaks. I will also include a set of dive rite gaiters and the hood that came with the suit. I...
A very good site is the City of Richmond. It is a 1.5 hour boat ride but it can have spectular conditions. Express water sports out of Murrells inlet tuns out to the site. It has lots of tropicals, big jacks, and a few sand tigers. The vis is better than average on the site. It was my kids...
Aggresive. Unless there was something really important and interesting to see on the first dive I might cut the bottom time back to 15mins, but I would dive it either way. On the other dives, my computer would not give me as much bottom time. I might be able ot go for 20 mins on the second and...
I dive off of the NC and SC coasts. The main reason I wanted to go deeper was to see the bigger fish. You would be shocked at all the species of of fish that inhabit the live bottom areas from 180 to 250'. During the summer I did a long dive on an live bottom area in 200'. I was surrounded by...
It is an ok computer. If you are looking for something cheap to use multigas diving it will do the job well. As said, when you add He to the mix then it becomes very conservative.
Expresswatersports.com This the charter operation I would go with. The sites they have listed that weekend are good sites and it is a much better dive operation.
I am your size and I found the best fit is with Pinnacle. The 4x elastoprene is the way to go. I have the 3 mil and 7 mil and they won't break the bank. If you got to a dry suit the king1 in the pinnacle has room to spare.
It is 105 to 110 to the sand. Not much relief except for the boilers. It is a good dive, lots of marine life.
Here is a video.

The best 4 sites off the Myrtle Beach area are the City of Richmond, Hebe, St Cathan, and Vermillion. The Richmond is a shallow wreck that can have outstanding vis and when it is good, it outstanding. Usually 4 or 5 sandtigers and long bottom times. But on the down side it is a long boat ride...
I have stayed in the hotel Avalon at the tip of the island several times. It has good basic rooms and a decent but expensive resturant. You can snorkel in the bay there at the hotel and the view is awsome. There are lots of resort type places at the other end of the island. Feb. is a great...
